Launched in 2022, CarbonScore is wholly owned and operated by the Malaysia Green Building Council (malaysiaGBC), the country's leading non-governmental organisation with a membership comprised of stakeholders from across the building & construction sector including industry professionals, manufacturers, contractors, developers, students and academics.

A volunteer-driven, non-profit association, malaysiaGBC promotes programs, design practices and processes that accelerate the environmental performance of the Malaysian building and construction sector.

malaysiaGBC is an established member of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC), a global action network of Green Building Councils from over 75 countries leading the worldwide transformation to a sustainable built environment for everyone, everywhere.
